Just to point out another part of this song that I love is the fact that the lyricist has used to word beautiful, NOT HOT. There is a huge different between the two words, so get it right.

Hey Julia, I love this song too, especially since your mum told me the chorus reminds me of you, now whenever i hear it I think of how much your mum loves you.
The only thing I have against the Bruno Mars’ interpretation of it is that it kind of upholds the belief that women are to be revered for how they look in the way a fine object might be appreciated… for its beauty. And have you seen the film clip?? No wonder he is praising her beauty, she if gorgeous! Not one ‘imperfection’ on that girl.
I think he should sing about how intelligent his girlfriend is, lol!!
